Well today I’ve made it to Hickory North Carolina. Yes I’ve made a bit of a detour on my way home. Tomorrow I’m going to hit the “Tail of the dragon” by the “Smoky Mountains”. Ok sounds like something out of Tolkien novel, but… I’m in :) Supposedly Americas #1 motorcycle road, 318 curves in 11 miles! I met this guy at a marina in Florida. He showed me his office, and the pictures from this rout looked spectacular!

Also there are people, or web cams… Not sure which yet, but they take your picture as you drive by! They seem to be only a day behind so… We shall see… Here ia a link...

I believe there are other photographers along that stretch, but I’m sure I will figure that out once I’m there…
Of course if it’s rainy out I will have to skip that little adventure.
